Coconut Soup Food Recipe

Ingredients of Coconut Soup :

  • 1 young coconut fruit, scrape the meat, reserving shell
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 200 grams of squid, cut into match
  • 300 grams of meat snapper, diced
  • 300 grams of shrimp, slit his back
  • 2 stalks lemongrass, crushed
  • 3 sheets of orange leaves
  • 3 cm ginger, crushed
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 tsp salt, 1 / 2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chicken flavor Royco
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

How To Make Coconut Soup :

  1. Heat oil, saute onion until fragrant, enter the squid, shrimp, lemongrass, lime leaves and ginger. Cook until shrimp changes color.
  2. Add water, salt, pepper, and Royco chicken flavor, bring to a boil.
  3. After boiling put tomatoes, lemon juice, and coconut, cook minute, remove from heat.
  4. Pour the soup into a coconut shell or a bowl of soup.
  5. Serve warm.

Serves 4

    Thanks for that, and for any readers that are having trouble chopping onions without the tears, here’s an incredibly simple tip – put them in the fridge first, then chop them straight away after taking them out! No more tears! I found some more onion soup recipes here if anyone wants to try some more recipes.

    Thank you so much, this was a good read. I was actually born in Spain ( not telling what year though!) but was moved around europe and lastly settled in Britain when I was a teenager. I dont remember an awful lot of the few years I was in spain, but the delicious smell of spanish food always seems to get me going or something. Funny, how I dont remember anything except the smells,isn’t it! I actually found a whole website dedicated to spanish recipes, which gave me great delight and thought I really should to share with your readers. Anyway, thank you again.
