Presto Balado Milkfish Recipes

Presto Balado Milkfish Ingredients :

  • Fresh fish, 500 grams (one tail)
  • Galangal, 3 cm, crushed
  • Bay leaf, 3 pieces
  • Citronella, a stem, crushed
  • Lime leaves, 2 sheets
  • Cooking oil, 500 ml
  • Water, to taste
  • Banana leaves, to taste

Spices :

  • Turmeric, 2 cm
  • Red chilli, 4 pieces
  • Garlic, 4 cloves
  • Red onion, 4 cloves
  • Ginger, 2 cm
  • Salt, to taste

How to cook Presto Balado Milkfish :

  1. Clean the fish from the scales and dirt, wash.
  2. Fry fish in hot oil until cooked and brown. Lift.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons oil, saute ground spices, ginger, bay leaves, lemongrass and lime leaves until fragrant.
  4. Place the banana leaves in the bottom of cooker (pressure cooker), enter the seasonings and milk. Pour water until completely submerged fish.
  5. Cook over high heat for approximately 30 minutes. Lift. Serve.
